[Calvin Carcass #3]

great!

you are one terrific animator mr. gentry, you have one of the most professional looks on Newgrounds i've ever seen, you put on a good show. your sound sucks, you need to work on that, like your sound effects, i noticed you used "hard hit" from a1freesoundeffects.com, but it's all good, just try to do better next time with that, your animator was awesome, well done, this goes in my favorites

[Legacy Episode 2]

wow.. just wow

From the second I saw the prelaoder screen, i was thinking, "Man I bet this is gonna have some badass frame by frame". It of course did not dissapoint. This was very professionally done indeed. I reminded me of some of the animation you'd see on Cartoon Network at 3 in the morning, which is a good thing, but this one had a much better storyline than some awful anime show.

Okay I started babbling there. This just had beautiful animation, and the contrasting Photoshop blur made me keep my eyes on the characters, which is a serious art technique you've achieved there, dull the background so the focal point of the piece is the main focus of the onlooker. I love ninja shit, I'll be blunt and say that, it's just alot of goodness, and makes me wanna go open Flash. So thank you, well done Les Pierre, you are one of my new Flash idols.

i wish there was more animation, this was sort of like a slightly moving comic.

which is good and bad, all in all, it was kind of trippy, but i liked it visually , i just didnt understand it much. could have used some sound , damn shame those pics take up all that space

ill reiterate, this is badass and definitly deserves this score, im quite glad its doing as good as it is. the sound was pro quality, and the guy below me is right, the blood was very realistic, not to mention as a whole the idea was just very cool, and sorta funny. we all have those people in our lives, and we always want to tear into them, but cant, so in a way, mike speaks for alot of us.

[Killing Spree V]

This series has officially hit rock bottom

this was just really bad, im not sure what was worse, the music selection or your lack of animation, this was just a bunch of rob zombie and shitty stick animaton, to be blunt.

you had so little animation in this, and it didnt even go along with the story at all, you didnt expand the story at all, in fact, i disliked it so much that i didnt finish it, the music was hideous it hurt my ears, i was kinda wanting to see what happened, but i couldnt stomach it, because you used such an overused song

im sorry but this is the worst edition of the chapter, you need to really draw, like in graphix pen, its so much better

you can tell you and tom were gamers out of the womb Dim, no doubt. this depicts a not so far fetched reality, eventually grand theft auto, will lose its luster, solid snake will get a plastic hip, and the gaming world as we know it, will come to an end.

the animation was pretty well superb, and the sound as always was top notch. your humor was definitly good too, although it was a bit of an exageration :),it does show, that eventually, the gaming world will be so large, that the classics will ultimately die.

that final fantasy bit was a laugh out loud moment, literally, glad you put it in there. you covered all the major franchises, and this animation is an asset to NG overall

Really Good

I came in here expecting nothing, stuff that has a 3.86 generally doesnt deserve it, and it ends up being stupid sprite crap, but this deserves alot better. This was a very complete episode, and very funny. Even a little laugh out loud funny. I liked your characters, your graphics, like i said, a very complete episode. You have a very unique style, its "College University" meets Luis ( sorry if that comparision doesnt make sense, NG stuff). But thats a good thing. Your sound was very high quality too, heh you'll hafta tell me how you streamed that well, everytime i do it, it sounds like the sounds being played in a tunnel. Anyways back on topic, that 20 dollars joke was very funny, i truley saw the slippery slope in Percy's head.

I noticed something funny, you have a lot of simpsons type humor, i counted how many times Percy could have said Doh!, i lost count after awhile, but i still found it funny.

First off, thanks for the thoughtful and articulate review!

Im really glad you noticed, because it is my policy to NEVER submit anything which I feel is incomplete. There has to be SOME story arc, even if it lasts 2 minutes. (I think this is the shortest episode of the three) If you just have some charecter walk on screen and fart, there is NO way you can become attached. Or even care for that matter. If I had the resources, these would all be half an hour long and FULL of gags.
You're also right, I think growing up with the simpsons has had a tremendous impact on my style. I am very careful never to pull too much influence from anything, but it proves impossible.

kinda weird

ill be honest, i didnt understand it worth a damn, but i liked the graphics, i havent seen that style before, so it that aspect, good show, i just didnt get what you were going for there

WEll, its what i call senseless humor..
YOu would understand it muuch better if you saw episode 11 and 12 first, since its a 3 parter, but since you didnt understand much of the humor, i guess you dont want to spend your time to much with them, except the fact they have the same drawing style.. Just keep in mind i Improved my art style since episode 11, before that the graphics are..ehmm...REALLY unique..thanks for the review!

well i guess this movie sorta protains to me, *nudges steve to look at my username*, weird im a steve too, gotta love the parallels here, anyways funny stuff, i liked the accents on them, pretty authentic for an englishman like your self, solid animation, good sounds, and a funny message, "get drunk, but do not run over the irish". hah all savy good, happy st patricks day man, viva ireland
